Fecha: 27/09/2022
The eECHO Project, leaded by INKOA, started in March 2022 with the aim of enhancing the resource-efficiency and sustainability of AgriFood Cold Chain Logistic in Tibet, Jingjinji and Shandong by providing MSMEs involved in Cold Chain Logistic with mechanisms to reduce energy use and GHG emissions of logistic services, while ensuring food quality and safety and reducing food wastage.
eECHO is part of the SWITCH-Asia Programme. Supported by the European Union and its international partners, SWITCH-Asia promotes Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) . It aims to improve the environmental performance of products throughout their life cycle, stimulate demand for better products and production technologies, and help consumers make informed choices.
A well-balanced multi-stakeholder partnership from Spain and China has been tailored to the complexity of the action. The project, coordinated by INKOA, counts with the participation of China Agricultural University, China Cold Chain Logistics Alliance, Beijing Wuzi University, Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University, Tianjin Academy of Agricultural Sciences, SynTao Green Finance, and as associated entity the State Development & Investment Corporation.
